Adaptable Conflict Resolution (ACR)

OSCR offers a spectrum of services that may be tailored to meet individual circumstances. Services may be accessed by meeting with a Resolution Coordinator. ACR pathways may be accessed without submitting written documentation; FCR pathways require submission of a written complaint alleging a violation of the Statement.

Shuttle Negotiation

Shuttle Negotiation is an indirect conversation (facilitated by a non‐involved party) between two or more parties involved in a conflict (“Disputants”).

Restorative Justice Circles

Restorative Justice Circles (“Circles”) provide an opportunity for community members to come together to address harmful behavior in a process that explores harms and needs, obligations, and necessary engagement.

Mediation

Mediation provides a safe and confidential space for parties in conflict to:
- Talk privately about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to the conflict.
- Surface issues related to social identity that could be contributing to the conflict.
- Consider what actions could meaningfully resolve the conflict.
- Explore the possibility of reaching a mutually agreeable solution to the conflict.
- Negotiate an agreement that resolves the dispute.

Facilitated Dialogue

Facilitated Dialogue is a structured conversation between two or more parties involved in a conflict (“Disputants”).

Conflict Coaching

Conflict Coaching is a one‐on‐one consultation process designed to assess and develop an individual’s communication skills and conflict management strategies.
