Apara Sharma

Graduate Program Assistant

Apara Sharma (she/her) is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Social Work, with an emphasis on Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, & Substance Abuse. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2021, where she obtained her B.A in Anthropology and Psychology. Apara is passionate about restorative practices that empower students using a strength-based approach. She is interested in implementing and adapting intervention systems that support the emotional and mental wellbeing of BIPOC students and communities.

Emmanuel Davis

Student Facilitator

Emmanuel is a freshman in Ross, and a proud LEAD scholar with the University of Michigan Alumni Association. She is passionate about equality, creativity, and art through beauty and human performance. In her free time, she loves participating in clubs on campus, playing basketball through Rec Sports, listening to music, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. Fun facts: Emmanuel worked at Zingerman’s Roadhouse all four years of high school and medaled at Nationals in Crew.

Ariana Chaidez

Student Program Coordinator - Front Desk and Workshops

Ariana (she/her) is a senior at the University of Michigan majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Science, Technology, and Society as well as Computing for Scientific Discovery. She is passionate about using modeling systems to examine global health outcomes, and plans on getting her MPH after she graduates. During her free time, she likes to make jewelry, listen to music, and go try new restaurants with her friends.

Ben (he/him) is a sophomore in LSA majoring in Economics and minoring in Statistics. Ben is passionate about mental health, art, philosophy, and politics. In his free time, he watches films and writes about art for the Michigan Daily.

Chandler Ramsey

Chandler is a junior at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, concentrating in marketing and sales. Passionate about community empowerment, Chandler is dedicated to advancing marginalized communities through involvement in campus organizations and various initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys fashion styling and staying active by working out.

Hazel Liang

Student Facilitator

Hazel (She/They) is a senior in LSA studying Sociology and Mathematics, with a minor in Gender Studies. They care about students' wellbeing and the women in STEM community. Hazel spends their free time reading, cooking and practicing ballet. After graduation, they hope to keep studying Sociology in graduate school. 

Brandon Lee

Student Facilitator

Brandon (he/him) is a junior double majoring in linguistics and international studies. After graduation, he aims to attend law school, where he plans to concentrate his studies on international law. He is deeply passionate about non-violent conflict resolution, both in the macro context of global affairs and in the micro context of interpersonal interactions. He is also deeply committed to raising mental health awareness among communities that have traditionally been hesitant to seek mental health support.

Ambar Amoros-Gomez

Graduate Program Assistant

Ambar Amoros-Gomez (she/her) is a 2nd-year Master's student in Health Informatics at the University of Michigan, with a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from the College of Engineering. She is passionate about addressing healthcare disparities, health education, and optimizing healthcare technologies for more equitable care, while also promoting restorative justice to create more inclusive healthcare environments. In her free time, she loves spending time with her dog and bunny.

Tasneem Abushaban, M.P.H.

SGBM Program Lead for Adaptable Resolution

Tasneem (she/her) is the Sexual and Gender-based Misconduct (SGBM) Program Lead for Adaptable Resolution. Tasneem's background focuses heavily on health equity, social and restorative justice. Tasneem holds her Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan, concentrating in Health Behavior, Health Education and Health Equity. She also holds her Bachelors of Science in Public Health focusing on Community Health Education from Montclair State University. Tasneem values empowering students to live healthy lives by taking care of their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

Caroline Lohr

Graduate Program Assistant

Caroline Lohr (she/her) is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Social Work, with an emphasis on Policy and Politics. She obtained a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Africana Studies from Virginia Tech. She is passionate about prevention education and restorative practices, specifically in Sexual and Gender-based Misconduct (SGBM). In her free time she enjoys weightlifting, writing, and policy investigation.
