Brett Cohen (he/him) is a graduate student studying Social Work and Higher Education. His goal from these programs is to work within the division of Student Life on a college campus and create environments where all students can thrive. Brett has long believed in the mission that everyone should feel at home in their campus community and looks forward to continuing this mission with OSCR.

Brett received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his time in undergrad, he worked as a tour guide, was a student alumni ambassador, and started his own organization to share lessons from the field of Positive Psychology. Currently, Brett also works with Wolverine Wellness as a co-facilitator of the course ALA 240, Living Well in College and Beyond, and as a Wellness Coach. He looks forward to working with more students, learning their stories, and empowering them to thrive.
