Ariana (she/her) is double majoring in Afroamerican and African Studies and Social Theory and Practice. Ariana is invested in restorative justice work and fostering a healing-centered culture across the University of Michigan's campus, and she believes that students and employees should be part of that shared process. In her free time, Ariana is a member of one of Michigan's a cappella groups and student bands, and she believes that music and art are powerful tools that can be used to build community and create connections with one another, and music can offer us ways to engage in healing processes together. Ariana also enjoys getting new song recommendations, studying in coffee shops, playing pick-up soccer, and petting any dog she sees on the streets of Ann Arbor!
